In the first seven verses of 1 Peter 3 we looked in-depth at marriage and the Biblical calling of husbands and wives to show love, honor and respect to each other. Peter first deals with women and the importance of Godly submission, the inner adornment of the heart and their calling by the Lord to purity. Then we examined the role of men and their calling to live with understanding, showing honor to their wives.
