King Solomon had everything going for him and it’s hard to fathom he would fall away from God and into such sin after God had given him so much. Yet despite God’s warning in 1 Kings 9:1-9 that’s exactly where we find Solomon – engaging in sinful things he probably never would have imagined doing when he began his reign 20 years earlier.
