As he looks at the state of his surroundings, Jeremiah falls into a deep depression and pens his sorrowful thoughts on the situation. Fortunately, even though things looked bleak, Jeremiah also knew the best remedy to lift him from this saddened state and he shares the antidote against depression with us in Lamentations 3:21-24.
